This project is based on exploring the distance between my grandmother, Helen, and myself as we were separated on opposite sides of the country up until she passed away.

This was my attempt to reconnect with her.

I asked her to take photos in her home and daily life. I then projected the images she provided onto objects of mine, rephotographing them, trying to close the gap between us.
